This gift box contains a pop-up altar with traditional thangka paintings of four important goddesses: White Tara, who can be called upon to alleviate illnesses, remove obstacles, and bestow long life; Vasudhara, who brings prosperity, fertility, abundance, and happiness; Kurukulla, who attracts and influences through the power of love and desire; and Vajrayogini, who can help us cultivate bliss and clarity of enlightened wisdom. This portable altar encourages visually assisted meditation which is part of Tibetan practice. On the fold-out lower flap for each goddess, you will find a description of her and a Sanskrit mantra. The text and illustrations are by Robert Breer, the paper engineering by Bruce Foster, and the concept by Tad Wise.
