Marion Woodman is an international writer, teacher, and speaker. She is a graduate of the C. J. Jung Institute in Zurich and the author of many books including Bone. On this two-and-one-half hour presentation on two CDs, she gives us a thought-provoking overview of conscious aging.

Woodman claims that we are "crowned" twice in life: once at birth and again as we reach old age and achieve inner and outer development. She uses examples from her own life, including a battle with cancer, to illustrate the "crossroads and thresholds" we must all pass through on our way to becoming an elder. Despite the fact that our body breaks down as we grow older, our spiritual capacities deepen.

Some of the many topics Woodman discusses are the spiraling process of life; King Lear, the story of old age; tearing away the illusion of addiction; suffering that leads to new life; crone consciousness; working with masculine energy; and the struggle for integration.
