Amelia Kinkade travels the globe teaching people to communicate with our fellow animals. She is the author of several books, including Straight from the Horse's Mouth and The Language of Miracles. She is founder of the Ark Angel Society, an educational nonprofit that visits schools in Zambia, Rwanda, and South Africa to enlighten children about the dangers of poaching. Kinkade encourages humans to remember that they used to communicate more directly with animals. Our ancestors listened to messages from the fox, the bear, the turtle and the whale. As we relearn to be open to animals and their activities, our humanity is refreshed and renewed. These creatures have many of the same feelings as we do; they get hurt, they suffer, they are happy, they take care of each other, and when one of them dies, they mourn the loss of that member of the tribe.

As a modern-day animal communicator, Amelia Kinkade shares stories in this paperback about her talks with tigers, elephants, lions, great white sharks, black mamba snakes, bees, and whales. She leads annual Sacred Harmony Safaris in Africa where she works with groups that rescue elephants, lions, and rhinos. Kinkade then sums up her mission:

"Communicating more effectively with animals makes us more conscious of their intrinsic value. . . . It can help us raise awareness about the rights of' endangered species. It can help us spur the human race into making a wild quantum leap into comprehension and compassion, and help inspire positive change in humans, as well."
