As in her previous book, Bouncing Back, Graham focuses this book on resilience, specifically on “how to cope resiliently no matter what life may throw at us.” Graham supplements her earlier work with new understandings and tools from her experience of teaching the neuroscience of resilience to mental health professionals and others.

Graham's resilience brain-training program covers more than 130 experiential and increasingly complex exercises to practice and further develop the skills to respond to stress and trauma with flexibility. By giving us the resources to enhance our ability to cope, Graham offers us the means to re-wire our brains in ways that will enhance our overall well-being.
