This is a fable by a retired Baptist minister who now teaches philosophy and religion at the University of Southern Mississippi. In 1964, a poor black congregation prepares for a promised visit from Jesus and Simon Peter. When they show up as two well-dressed Jewish women, it is only the beginning of a series of surprises which reveal the trickiness of God's grace up against the injustice and prejudice of this less than perfect world. This unabridged tape is entertainingly read by Earle Hyman.
