This 96-page paperback is designed for small group discussion of Catholic social teaching on issues of money, finance, and economics in a globalized world. It uses a See-Judge-Act method of evoking discussion on a wide variety of topics. The material is divided into sections on:

Each chapter also includes an opening prayer, a scriptural reflection, and important facts. For example, in Session 5 on The Option for the Poor: "Did Your Know? According to the National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty, approximately 3.5 million people.1.35 million of them children, are likely to experience homelessness in a given year. The official poverty rate is the highest level since data first became available in 1975. The poverty rate for children is far worse than for adults."
