Jack, the yellow cab, was used to zipping around the big city, but he was slowing down a bit. While stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic he saw an advertisement poster inviting him to "Come to Brazil!" with pictures of flowers and beautiful birds in a rain forest. He thought it looked like paradise.

Jack was on the bridge out of town when suddenly he found himself flying through the sky with three red parrots. They ended up in the rainforest where monkeys played overhead in the treetops. Among the varied animals, he liked the chameleon best, especially when it turned yellow to look exactly like him.

Jack's new friends were frightened by the arrival of an excavator and two other construction vehicles getting ready to cut down the trees for a road and a large field of soybeans. Jack's own relatives were about to destroy paradise! Jack came up with an alternate plan.
