Axl (Fernando Tielve) is a twentysomething Spanish expat who is in London on a mission to find his father who abandoned him years ago. When he discovers that he's a real estate agent, he pretends to be a student looking for an apartment. In reality, Axl is befriended by Mike (Iddo Goldberg) who runs a club named Lost and Found. This fellow allows him to live in a squatters warehouse.

Vera (Deborah Francois) also lives there but they do not know each other. She is an attractive young woman from France who has been hurt by a previous romantic affair and is hesitant to let anyone get close to her. During the day, Vera works in a bookstore and at night she goes dancing. She begins a relationship with a mysterious young man (Michiel Huisman) and insists that they keep silent about their past.

Unmade Beds as directed by Alexis Dos Santos is a very minimalist drama. It is carried by the beauty of Deborah Francois who has appeared in several other European films. Dos Santos also gives plenty of play in the movie to the music of several rock bands.
