Forgiveness offers healing for ourselves and others. It nurtures deep love and generosity of spirit. Today consciously invite forgiveness into your life in one of these three ways:
- Requesting forgiveness from those we have hurt, which requires us to do reparation work and make a commitment to not repeat the mistake.
- Forgiving those who have hurt us, and demonstrating to them our willingness to let go of past hurts, resentments, disappointment and betrayal. And if I cannot forgive at this time, can I forgive myself for that.
- Forgiving ourselves in participating in self-deception or abandoning ourselves to win acceptance and approval.
