Consider the hobbies and pastimes you enjoy. Occasionally, when you begin to work or play at them, pause to reflect on the possibility that since we don't know the time of our deaths, this might be the last time that you will have the opportunity to do them in this life. When we make death an "ally" in this way, we begin to appreciate life more fully and find greater pleasure and commitment in the things we do.
