Anger is a potent inner force that everyone experiences in themselves, often followed by regret. Yet there is a positive aspect to anger — it is a signal that something you care about is endangered or wronged. How much more effective and less harmful it is when we respond not from flaming, destructive rage but from an inner place of calm and thoughtful certitude.

"The calm one is greater than a warrior, and the self-controlled is greater than a conqueror." [Proverbs 16:32]
