You might even bless your grocery shopping: "Creator of all that nourishes us, you give to us the needs of the body." In the office, before you have to write a report you have been dreading, you can silently intone: "Bless to me, O God, each word that my fingers type." If you have to get into the car for yet another errand, the task may become less onerous if you pray, "Bless to me, O God, the path whereon I go." It is not only entertaining to create these colorful small prayers, but it can do more than anything else I have tried to change my attitude!
