The sacraments open us to God's grace to effect this unity, first in us, then through our reconciling work with the Holy Spirit in the universe. Especially baptism and the Eucharist are the sacraments wherein the divinization power of Christ and his Holy Spirit works most effectively in us. The Church is also a place of encountering Christ's divinizing grace. The Church is a microcosm of what can be accomplished by God's grace throughout the entire human race and the created cosmos.
