The question of how we, as people of faith, situate ourselves in relation to other families of faith is not only ours as Christians but also ours as Jews, Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists. All of us live in the new world in which the proximity and intermingling of people of many faiths is a fact of our global life and increasingly our local lives as well.
