A leaping frog
transfigured in form
from unassuming tadpole,
tantalizes my search
for transformation.
Trust the ordinary,
take heart, be patient,
be willing to stretch
into unknown transition.
I still look for easy growth
and instant change
when all the while
frog legs and happy croaks
are gestating within me.
