Alan Watts once said about himself that he had "graduated" from the Anglican Church. He didn't want to say that he repudiated the Church. And I feel the same way — that I graduated from Habad Lubavitch Hasidism. That's not to say that the Lubavitchers are a bad "school." They are a great school, but some people get fixated in first grade all the time.
