When we lose something, instead of blaming someone else, we can consider the loss to be a repayment to a kind parent and rejoice because we haven't complicated the situation by making more negative karma. When we really understand that all beings, including our employer, have been our kind and loving parents, rejoicing in another's happiness becomes possible even in the face of loss.
