The grace of India is a grace of interiority. Insofar as one lives the inner life oneself, one is capable of understanding India, and also of being accepted and understood by India. Conversely, insofar as one penetrates the secret of India, one discovers oneself in the within, one penetrates the unfathomable depth of oneself more and more deeply. No message from the West, even were it gathered up and sent by the Word of God, will ever succeed in awakening a deep echo in the soul of India, unless it is presented under the guise of "within."
