Casting aside her dreams of being a warrior or martyr, [Saint] Therese slowly realized that even in her littleness, she could make a difference, a life-giving difference, to others.

In the limited space of her convent, her carmel, she made a difference to the whole world, by doing everything, however small, out of love. In the limited space of our own homes and our own lives, we can do the same. Every act of kindness, performed in love, changes the whole world.
