To be truly intimate is to bless all we encounter. This is not done ceremonially with a pomp and circumstance that brings attention to the person who's blessing. The unattached blessing often seems too ordinary, extra-ordinary. An open face. A conscious listening without seeking any "solution." A soft belly in the presence of fear. Offering care instead of cure. Feeling empathy to another's suffering.
