She [Mary, the Mother of Jesus] knew she had, in her existence, something special, sacred, and divine. She managed to respond to it through faith, fidelity, and much love. She did not understand all of what was happening. In a sense, she did not need to understand because she was sure. Her faith was total. She "kept all these things in memory." She "treasured all these things and reflected on them in her heart." And the salvation of the world spread out from that little home of that little village and transformed the universe and everything in it!
