The world of the imagination as it comes to expression through the world of art contains profound resources not only for theology but also for the pastoral practice of the Church's ministers. The way in which each Christian uses the world of images is itself an act of the imagination. There are no rules governing how each is to bring that gift before God's people. The only rule is the nonrule of St. Augustine to love and do what you will.
