Debbie Ford was an internationally recognized expert in the field of personal transformation. She created The Shadow Process and was the author of bestselling books on the importance of doing shadow work and owning your story. She was a popular teacher, offering workshops around the country designed to support others in leading fully integrated lives. She had a degree in psychology with an emphasis in consciousness studies from JFK University.

Her self-described mission was to empower people to become the conscious designers of their lives and to create the outer circumstances that most clearly reflect their heart’s desires. She founded the Ford Institute for Integrative Coaching, a personal development organization which provides professional training for individuals who desire to lead extraordinary lives.
