Pentecost

"Inspired by the roar of the Holy Spirit's wind and fire, consider making a mobile to hang in your house. Make a red cardboard dove with seven orange flames around it, marked with the seven gifts of the Spirit. To celebrate a Pentecost meal, wear red clothes and eat red foods — strawberries, perhaps, that look like tongues of flame. At each place at table make 'name cards' with the gifts of the Spirit, and family members may choose where they sit today, selecting the gift they most love or most desire. Read God's Grandeur and Other Poems by Gerard Manley Hopkins. Gather with friends on an open field or in the park for an afternoon of kite-flying."
