In Hassidic teachings we learn that the purpose of the descent of any one soul may be simply to do one benevolent act for one other person. When the soul has completed this act, its reason for being on an earthly plane may be fully achieved.

Keep this thought in mind when visiting someone who is dying or when remembering a loved one who has died.
