On September 11, walk for one mile — more if you can, less if you can't — while quietly or silently repeating the Jesus Prayer: "Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner." Variations of the prayer are also possible, such as: "Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on us" and "Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy."
