When learning [Torah], you make yourself a chariot for the Shechinah, or, in other words, a vehicle for God and His will, in two ways: by fulfilling His command to study the Torah, and by filling yourself with the light of His presence communicated through the holy Torah. At the same time you pray that God increase His presence and direction in your life.
