There are many references to singing in the Christian Scriptures. For example, in Matthew 26:30 we read, "And when they had sung a hymn they went out to the Mount of Olives." Singing together reflects the oneness of all; it is also a wonderful way to appreciate the preciousness of relationships and the great privilege of being together. Sometimes singing along with a recording or with the radio also bring us closer to God. It can enhance our spiritual development and strengthen our spiritual awareness.
