The word "hope" in Hebrew means "to twist, to twine around," like strands in a rope. Hold a "Rope of Hope" ceremony. Tie three strands of yarn or twine together and begin a braid to be passed around the circle. All participants add another section to the braid as they describe projects they are involved in to bring hope to the world. Then gather in a group and symbolically "throw" the rope as a lifeline to those who need it. Say a prayer thanking God for the opportunities to bring hope to the world.
