Ground and center yourself in a relaxed state. Have a pencil and paper ready. Focus on the question, “What do I need in my life right now?” Mindfully ask that question (aloud or silently) three times. Ask slowly, feeling it become more meaningful with each query. When you’re ready, write or draw the first thing that comes to mind. It could result in anything from a word, to a collection of simple shapes, to a recognizable drawing. Intuitively interpret its meaning. Does your interpretation feel right? Try to consider the sources of information that informed your intuition.
