September 2016: Happy First Anniversary of our new home! There is still time to become a Founding Practicing Partner, a program designed for those who have steadily supported our new venture from early on.
What we started forty years ago — through our Cultural Information Service and Living Room Learning newsletters in the 1970s and 1980s, Values & Visions magazine in the 1990s, and the publication of our books Spiritual Literacy in 1996 and Spiritual Rx in 1999 — all came together in 2006 when we launched SpiritualityandPractice.com. Since then the website has grown into a robust resource center with more than 40,000 pages of content. And in our ongoing evolution, it is now blossoming into The Center for Spirituality & Practice located in Claremont, California.
Our new center is adjacent to and affiliated with the interfaith-oriented Claremont School of Theology — so that students, professors, and volunteers will be able to interact with our staff and our extensive library, making our wisdom archive part of their career paths as well as their spiritual journeys.
Here's how Mark Nepo, Cynthia Bourgeault and Thomas Moore responded to the news of S&P's new home.
