Spirituality & Practice, the website, is now The Center for Spirituality & Practice.

What Frederic and Mary Ann Brussat started forty years earlier — through the Cultural Information Service and Living Room Learning newsletters in the 1970s and 1980s, Values & Visions magazine in the 1990s, and the publication of the books Spiritual Literacy in 1996 and Spiritual Rx in 1999 — all came together in 2006 when they launched SpiritualityandPractice.com. Since then the website has grown into a robust resource center with 58,000 pages of content. And in our ongoing evolution, it has blossomed into The Center for Spirituality & Practice located in Claremont, California.

The center is on the second floor of a spacious building on historic Route 66 . Volunteers, students and professors from the Claremont Colleges, and residents of nearby retirement communities are able to interact with the staff and our extensive library, making our wisdom archive part of their career paths as well as their spiritual journeys.

The Center is affiliated with the Claremont School of Theology (CST), a seminary commited to ecumenical and interreligious education. CST professors provide input to S&P's School of Spiritual Life and programs for which CST offers CEUs.

Here's how Mark Nepo, Cynthia Bourgeault and Thomas Moore responded to the news of S&P's new home as we were planning the move from New York City to Claremont in 2015.
