Study and Practice to:

  • reap the harvest of wisdom from all the world's religions and spiritual paths
  • explore the great ocean of Oneness that is the source of all spirituality
  • be willing to enrich your faith by dialoguing with others
  • rejoice in what you have in common with those on another spiritual path
  • respect the differences between your own path and another's
  • seek opportunities to experience a wide variety of spiritual practices
  • pull down the barriers which hinder the acceptance of diversity and religious pluralism such as dogma, exclusivism, and chauvinism
  • accept "nones" (those without any religious affiliation) and those who are "spiritual but not religious"
  • support interfaith marriage and other relationships
  • encourage interfaith spiritual direction as a valid adjunct to spiritual formation
  • be open to what can be learned from those who have a "double belonging" such as Jews who are Buddhist, Christians who are also Sufis
  • find a spiritual community where you can work with other multifaith organizations to mend the world
