Continuing Education for Clergy, Everyone

A smorgasbord of books, audios, film and more is within reach, so that the question becomes: “How do I sort through to find what will truly feed my spiritual cravings? How can I discover resources that will challenge and inspire?” It’s a common dilemma and an impetus for the Spirituality & Practice online portal.

Thus, we invite you to explore what has been found, reviewed, designed (as with the online courses) and set up here for easiest access. Then please feel free to take advantage of the “legwork” we’ve done. Continuing education for clergy, families, churches, social justice groups, individuals, couples, parents, teachers and anyone driven to learn ever more about spiritual teachers, inspiring cinema, riveting books and the numerous other resources represented here, Spirituality & Practice is designed to be used.

Film Reviews, Online Courses

We have the best job in the world, reviewing wonderful films and books, learning all we can about great authors, cinematographers, spirituality teachers, and more, and getting to speak to their “word” in some form. Because whether it’s a matter of designing online courses (through the wonderful convenience of email!) about Ram Dass or Thich Nhat Hanh, or reviewing both mainstream and off the beaten path cinema, the pleasure is all ours.

So we honor you as best we can, passing the joy on to you with “continuing education” for clergy and for everyone. Motivated and energized by a great film, we don’t hesitate to make every effort to create something of value so you can decide whether you might like to investigate. (See the Values & Visions Guides for group sharing too.) Captivated by the power of “naming the days,” we find resources and “light sources” for our visitors, collecting a rich store of ways to make each day something unique, separate and meaningful.

We hope you find sustenance here to enrich your spiritual life, provide central themes for community focus and more.
