I think of the warning, "Where there is no vision, the people perish." Let us see what vision we can come to by thinking back and thinking forward along love's road. Thinking back, we are asking ourselves the question that is asked in the Gospel of John, "Where do you come from?" And thinking forward, we are asking ourselves the other great question that is asked there, "Where are you going?" Thinking on the road behind and the road ahead, we are able at last to discover where we are now.
