Peter Walsh is a clutter and organizational expert who is the host of the new weekly primetime series "Enough Already! with Peter Walsh," which had its premiere on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network on January 3, 2011.

Walsh begins this book by taking on the widespread idea that less is a terrible thing and much inferior to more. Think about the term and you will probably associate it with not having enough, deprivation, missing something, or getting shafted or swindled by someone. Walsh challenges us to turn things around and see less as leading to a life of less stress, less debt, less anger, and less frustration. Less can really be more in Peter Walsh's world.

After filling out a statement about what we really want out of life, we are asked to take three audits:

• "Personal audit: What emotional stuff have you assumed that's affecting your life?

• "Financial audit: What financial stuff have you taken on that's affecting your life?

• "Home audit: What physical stuff have you filled your home with that's affecting your life?"

For those who are overwhelmed and anxious about the clutter of their personal lives, the author suggests creating a space for what really matters. For those mired in debt and doubts about financial security, Walsh admonishes them to face the financials. And to those who are living in a messy and disorganized home, the advice is: change how you and your family measure happiness.
