In Picture My Day, writer Severine Cordier and illustrator Cynthia Lacroix created a scrapbook pulling together the adventures of three children over a single day. Hundreds of objects are identified as they play, take baths, go out on the streets, eat, encounter nature, and experience nightfall. We saluted this picture book for giving young children a chance to harvest their observations and to be grateful for what they have.

Picture My World is a companion title where the same three siblings experience a series of milestones and challenges familiar to children from ages 2 to 4 years. From the familiar comment — "Look how you have grown!" through "It rains, it pours," writer Severine Cordier and illustrator Cynthia Lacroix take us on a tour of childhood with pictures of kids holding hands, marveling at their new goldfish, waiting for mother who has forgotten her keys, tending to a scraped knee, picking cherries, having a birthday party, and many other experiences, including the delights of swinging, splashing, and saying "no!"
