Lynda and Jools Topp have been performing together for more than 30 years in New Zealand where they are known for their country music, great yodeling, and kiwi humor. The twins are lesbians and proud of the fact that they have advanced the cause of openness and tolerance in a conservative country. Leanne Poley directs this spunky documentary which includes concert footage, interviews with the twins at various stages in their lengthy career, and commentary by their rural parents and others.

In one of the most interesting segments, the Topp sisters do a tractor tour of New Zealand driving slowly from small town to small town and presenting their act to full houses at country fairs. Lynda and Jools have certainly amplified their popularity with the funny characters they have produced as a part of their shows. They are very close as twins and this human dimension comes through when one of them fights cancer and the other is there every step of the way to support her through chemotherapy. The Topp sisters have also used their vocal and creative talents to advance the causes of a nuclear free country and aboriginal rights.
