They are filled with hopes for a better life. The journey is arduous, humiliating, and filled with betrayal and disappointment. Director Xavier Koller celebrates the courage and the hope of these refugees who are shamefully treated by both those who prey upon them and those in Switzerland who are quick to close doors on ethnic outsiders.
