Star Trek V: The Final Frontier
Directed by William Shatner
Paramount Home Entertainment 06/89 DVD/VHS Feature Film
PG

Laurence Luckinbill is featured in this science fiction story as the half-brother of Spock, who hijacks the brand new Starship Enterprise, and takes the crew on a voyage he hopes will result in a close encounter with God. While others are mesmerized by his zealotry, Captain Kirk (William Shatner) refuses to see him as anything more than a religious con man. The drama, directed by Shatner, says that we should all look for God within the human heart and appreciate the moral dimensions of friendship.
