Film ReviewBy Frederic and Mary Ann BrussatStraight Out of Brooklyn Directed by Matty Rich Warner Home Video 06/91 DVD/VHS Feature Film R - language Straight Out of Brooklyn focuses on the attempts of a frustrated and angry black youth to find a way to free his hard working mother, his younger sister, and his alcoholic and abusive father from their life of poverty in an inner city ghetto. Only problem is as his sensible girlfriend tells him robbing a local drug dealer is the wrong method.
