Spiritual Practice
of the Day

Tibetan Buddhist monks greet strangers who come to their temples with the question: Welcome friend, from what noble spiritual tradition do you come? Throughout Asian countries like India and Nepal, the salutation on everyone's lips is "Namastae," accompanied by a bow with hands together as in prayer. Namastae means "I salute the God within you."
— Paula Hardin in What Are You Doing with the Rest of Your Life?

To Practice This Thought:: Bow — outwardly or inwardly — to everyone you meet.
