God of my waking and my sleeping, help me to stay awake spiritually, to listen to you in my life and in my dreams. Bless those who work at night while others are sleeping, especially nurses, emergency workers, police and firefighters. Bless also those who make or sell beds and those who help people with sleeping disorders. Help everyone on the earth to sleep well tonight. And help me to rest peacefully in you as I crawl into bed at the end of my day. Amen.
