There is a beautiful story of an old woman coming to him [Ramakrishna] and saying, "I'm hopeless, I can't pray, I can't meditate, I can't do anything. I'm going to die soon, so please give me, in about five minutes, something that I can do." He said, "I will, of course, Who do you love most?" She said, "Oh, I love my granddaughter most." He said, "Well, that's it. Go back home, don't do anything, don't go to Benares, don't bother about pilgrimage or anything like that. Just love your granddaughter as a Divine Mother." I think that is one of the most profound teachings ever given to humanity.
