There is nothing wrong with narrow mind. It, too, is a manifestation of God, and a necessary one at that. As Jesus' rabbinic contemporary Hillel, said some two millennia ago, "If I am not for myself, who will be for me?" Narrow mind is all about being for yourself. The problem arises only when taking care of yourself is done at the expense of others.
