“Do you have any dreams that you’re scared to let out into the light of day?

“Did you know that anxiety and excitement produce the same feeling in our bodies? Sometimes we just have to flip the script. I went through a period of time when flying freaked me out. When anxiety rose up in my chest, I practiced saying, ‘I’m so excited about this, I love flying.’ Believe it or not, it actually helped.

“Start acknowledging your dreams. Write them down and share them with a trusted someone. The world is full of open doors if you are brave enough to knock on them. Just because people ‘don’t’ doesn’t mean you can’t. Step outside the box, and practice listening to your heart.

“If you’re scared, practice reframing. Instead of ‘What if it goes terribly wrong’ try ‘What if it turns out better than I think?’ ”
