Mr. Kringle runs a little toy shop. When a box arrives with a small stuffed Bunny inside of it, he introduces him to Teddy, the stuffed bear. They become friends as they watch various toys in the store leave for new homes. One day a little girl stares in the shop's window at Bunny. But she does not return before a man purchases him for his daughter's birthday. That girl is not impressed with the gift, and Bunny is thrown out in the trash. A dog chews one of Bunny's eyes off and deposits him in the creek. Mr. Kringle retrieves him and repairs him for Christmas Eve. Then he goes out to make a special delivery to a little girl.
