In this unusual and challenging children's picture book by Suzy Lee, a South Korean writer and illustrator, takes us into the world of an imaginative little girl who goes exploring in her attic. Kids sometimes have an uncanny ability to create their own wild world of play. On the top page in this story, the little girl sees a ladder, a pair of shoes, some boxes, a broom, a vacuum cleaner, and a bike. On the bottom page, we see the shadows of the girl and these things.

She spreads out her fingers to make a bird. Putting a shoe on her head, she imagines herself to be a wolf. Then much to her surprise, the shadows beneath her take on their own life with a broom assuming the life of a flower and the vacuum becoming an elephant. Next the little girl is being chased by the wolf. The adventure continues until the cry of "Dinner's Ready" breaks the spell and sends her back downstairs to a more secure and tranquil world.
