Even a very young boy can experience the excitement and energy of New York City. He begins his visit to the Big Apple with a bagel with cream cheese for breakfast. Then it's on to the Met and the art of Degas and Vermeer. He frolics in Central Park and takes a bus downtown to look at shops. Then it's lunch from a deli and a Broadway matinee. He rounds out the day with Times Square, the Empire State Building, dinner in Soho, and a final treat of an ice cream cone on Bleecker Street.

Illustrator Ward Jenkins knows and appreciates the delights of Manhattan and the adventures that can be had here by young and old alike. Here is a positive view of city life and that alone is enough for us to recommend New York, Baby to you!
