Aziz (Aziz El Hadachi) is a poverty-stricken Arab teenager whose father works at a luxurious villa on the Mediterranean island of Corsica. Trying to score some points with his buddies, he hosts a late night pool party at the place. Things get out of hand when several party-goers throw up and some items are stolen. When the outraged French owner of the villa goes ballistic about the desecration of his beautiful home away from home, Aziz takes responsibility for the whole mess including the thefts. Even though he doesn't snitch on his two friends, Francois-Jo (Francois Joseph Cullioli) comes up with a plan to insure that no one finds out about the valuable hunting rifle he took from the villa. Here greed is a strong animating force in the lives of these adolescents who want more than they need.

Thierry de Peretti directs this French crime drama which vividly depicts the class and racial tensions that serve as a backdrop to the fate of Aziz. The tourist crowd that enjoyed the entertainment, booze, and swimming pool at the party have no idea what life is like for him and his poor family. The title of the film is a French police slang term for young hoodlums.
