Fill a bowl half full of water and set it aside. Melt some wax next to the child’s head (you can use a candle for this). As the wax melts, chant a prayer like:

All that is harmful, go away!
All that is good, come forth!
May the higher powers bless you!

Repeat this prayer an odd number of times. When done, pour the melted wax into the bowl of water, as close to the baby’s head as possible (so the baby can hear the splash). The wax will take the form of the attachment or entity that is frightening the child and absorb it. Take this wax shape outside and throw it behind you toward the northeast, then return inside without looking back.[1] Some sources say you should break this wax piece in half.
